To set the stage for this years Sales Conference, I would like to review the history of The engineering science Store.
Emanuel DaSalva founded The Technology Store in January of 1985. The original store was rigid in an old gas station in Dublin, Ohio. The harvest-time line consisted of Indigo computers and a few software titles. Mr. DaSalva exchange his merchandise in a small showroom and finished advertisements placed in national computer magazines.
In 1986, Mr. DaSalva added spare name-brand computers and peripherals to the product line. Impressive sales growth during the spring of 1989 requisite us to move to our current location in Columbus, Ohio.
over the years, our product lines and markets have expanded. We now have retail stores in 23 states and sales representatives working throughout the country and we very market and sell on the Internet. The ability to offer splendid products at competitive prices is the basis for the long-term customer relationships we before long enjoy.
Our goal is to maintain these relationships, attract new customers, and continue to grow.
Providing our customers with case products, competitive pricing, and consistent service is the key to accomplishing this objective.
You as a sales representative are an extremely important section of The Technology Store team. We depend on your product noesis to attain our sales goals. As the necessary link amid our customers and The Technology Store, your responsibility is to provide the service necessary to seduce long-term relationships.
