Rabbit Proof Fence is a film that definitely shows the developing of individuality through nurturing in ways such as environment and peers. The film tells or so the Government policy that involved the taking of half-caste indigen children from their mothers and placing them in concentration like camps that manipulated their fundamental identity by re-educating them with westward culture. Depicted in the film were half-caste sisters, Molly Craig and Daisy Kadibil, along with their cousin-german Gracie Fields. When taken from their mothers and forcibly placed into the Moore River camp for half-caste children, Molly, Daisy and Gracie were forced to discard their aboriginal cultural ways and were involuntarily made to win western ways. The aboriginal children were nurtured by albumen Christians into abandoning their aboriginal traits with hold and punishment.
Moore River, a camp that forced half-caste children to desert their aboriginal lifestyles by nurturing them into adopting western culture. A. O. Neville, Chief Protector of Aborigines, had intentions of breeding out the aboriginal race. By disciplining them whenever they spoke their native language, the children would associate the behaviour with being punished; therefore they learn not to speak in their native language at the Moore camp.
