Our Town
In the play Our Town the reason tries to explain us how we go past our lives doing things that argon not sincerely important and at the end we realize that our lives had g superstar by and we never noticed. We are ceaselessly so busy that we seizet have the time to appreciate the simple things. And an pillowcase of this in the play, is when Emily goes jeopardize to her 12th birthday after she died and she watches how her intent goes so fast, and her mother is so busy doing a pack of stuff, so thats when Emily says, Oh, Mama, just look at me one minute as though you re whollyy saw me (Wilder 101). This is how we spend almost every single day of our lives; we live uniform we had a million years. When we are kids were so dreaded to grow up and once we do, we wish we could go back to the time we were younger, the point is that we dont focus in the moment were living right now.
We convince ourselves that well be happier when we get a new car, when we get married, when we get a new house; and that´s the problem because we waste our present. We are so bored by our daily lives that were always expecting something extraordinary to happen, but time doesnt wait for anyone and all of those ordinary moments that we underestimated so much were the special part of life.
