Introduction to Plath: Research Project

In order to succeed a good level in your IB course, it is essential that you are complete independent secondary reading outside of the classroom to consolidate what you have learned so far. The poet whom you go forth be initially studying will be Sylvia Plath. In order to fix a sense of what her poetry is all about, it is imperative to gain an viewing of her life, thoughts, ideas and experiences, which will in turn help you to visualize her poems with greater ease. During the course your teacher will go finished the first couple of Plath poems with you, then you will each be allocated a poem, or be asked to look at genuine elements of a poem, which you will then be expected to apply back to the class on.
