Zinn's View

In the article Some Truths Are Not axiomatic, the author; Howard Zinns main point is that The United States of Americas war paint did not really do nothing much for their citizens, instead the citizens were and ar the ones who have had and will have the courage to get their rights seen by the uncouth. However, this is not what Zinn points out. Zinn mentions different movements that were taken by people; citizens from the country to abolish slavery. Thanks to those social movements laws were created, like the fourteenth and 15th Amendments. The actions taken by the citizens in the United States were outside the Constitution. The Constitution did not help at all. Even when the laws for colored people were passed by the Constitution; racist people often unheeded them and were not effective until others social movements came on, like the Montgomery coach boycott.
